Kentucky Surpasses 100,000 COVID-19 cases
The commonwealth has officially surpassed 100,000 cases of COVID-19. Governor Beshear announced during his daily press briefings Wednesday afternoon that there have been 1,864 newly reported cases. The state’s total is now at 101,494.
The state’s positivity rate continues to rise. On Wednesday the rate is at 6.07%
14 more Kentuckians have died from the virus Wednesday. That brings the total number of lives lost here in Kentucky to 1,442.
The Barren River District Health Department reports that both Warren and Barren county saw 41 new cases Wednesday. Hart County also saw a high number of new cases with 27.
Even with these high case numbers around the area,there are no new deaths reported. The total remains at 153.
