Kentucky State Police searching for leads in Allen County homicide

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky.- There are still more questions than answers concerning a homicide that occurred Tuesday in Allen County.

On Tuesday night, Justin Wix, 47, was found shot to death outside of his mobile home on Stinson Lane in Scottsville.

Since the body was discovered, state police say they have been working closely with other law enforcement agencies in Kentucky and in Wix’s home state of Tennessee.

On Thursday, uniformed troopers were following up on some information, but state police say they still don’t have any suspects or solid leads.

“I think it’s definitely imperative that we bring the killer to justice and bring closure to the victim’s family,” said Lt. Jeremy Smith with Kentucky State Police. “They definitely want closure and want to know who has done this. It’s important that we all work together to bring closure to this family.”
