NEW DETAILS: Shepherdsville man arrested after motorcycle pursuit into Park City

PARK CITY, Ky. – A Shepherdsville man is facing multiple charges in connection to a pursuit Saturday that crossed into Park City.

Kentucky State Police troopers worked Saturday afternoon to locate a motorcyclist, identified as Johnathan Ernspiker, 41, of Shepherdsville, after he wrecked in Park City, according to KSP trooper Katan Parker.

Parker said that the pursuit began due to a black Harley Davidson motorcycle speeding in Smiths Grove and continued into Park City, where the motorcyclist wrecked on KY 255.

Parker said shortly before 8 p.m. that the motorcyclist had fled on foot.

Ernspiker was arrested and is charged with speeding 26 miles per hour or greater over the speed limit, reckless driving, first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, operating on a suspended or revoked license, improper passing and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first offense.

Ernspiker remains at the Warren County Detention Center.
