Kentucky State Police Post 3 to conduct traffic safety checkpoints
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police Post 3 says it would like to remind drivers of its traffic safety checkpoints aimed at ensuring safety on the roads.
According to the agency, troopers will also be using these checkpoints as a deterrent for those who may violate laws.
Authorities say traffic safety checkpoints will focus on driver impairment, vehicular equipment deficiencies (confirming appropriate registration and insurance of vehicles) and the valid licensing of drivers.
Other law violations or public safety issues will also be addressed, according to troopers.
Post 3 serves multiple counties, including Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Simpson and Warren counties.
