Kentucky State Police looks out for driver safety with Operation SafeDRIVE
WARREN COUNTY, Ky.- Kentucky State Police is cracking down on anything that will cause a collision. Through Operation SafeDRIVE, the officers will be maintaining the safety of drivers and urging them not to drive distracted, reckless or impaired.
According to trooper Katan Parker, KSP is increasing their presence on the roadways to not only watch for these things but also to make the community aware that they care about their safety. KSP wants everyone to be intentional about staying out of blind spots and passing safely.
Parker says, “It’s to keep people aware that we’re out there and kind of up to police visibility, you know, kind of let people know that, hey, we’re out here, we’re watching you, we’re making sure that you’re driving safely and making sure you’re not out there causing collisions.”
