SPRINGFIELD, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police has arrested a Washington County man on child sexual exploitation offenses.

According to KSP, its Electronic Crime Branch arrested Joseph Timothy Graves, 53, on April 10 on charges related to child sexual abuse material.

Officials say his arrest stemmed from an undercover internet crimes against children investigation. KSP says the investigation began after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.

A search warrant was conducted in Springfield, officials say, resulting in authorities seizing equipment involved in the crime. It will be further examined by authorities.

Graves is charged with 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 years old.

Graves was lodged at the Washington County Detention Center.
