Kentucky Commissioner of Education speaks at luncheon in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, KY.- Dr. Robbie Fletcher, Kentucky Commissioner of Education, made a stop in Bowling Green to share some of his story and how he plans to make an impact.

The Kentucky Center for Leadership hosted an executive luncheon at the WKU Innovation Campus on Thursday.

Warren County Public Schools and Bowling Green Independent Schools gathered to gain a better understanding of his leadership style.

Dr. Fletcher is focusing on his goals for every school system in Kentucky. He says, “As educators, we have one job, and that is to provide opportunity. And those opportunities come in three different sections if you will. For me, the very first one is that opportunity to dream. And also to we want them to be successful. ”

The commissioner discussed many goals that he has put in place for his upcoming school year and News 40 will continue to follow this story.
