Kentucky Records Second Highest Increase in Covid-19 Cases on Friday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – As of this evening, there are 18,670 total cases across the state, which is an increase of 426 new cases since Thursday. This also marks the second-high increase the state of Kentucky has seen.

5,258 individuals have now fully recovered, while eight more Kentuckians have died from the virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 620.

The total number of tests has eclipsed the 470,000 mark.

Locally, Warren County has recorded 16 new cases since Thursday, bringing their total to 1,714.

New cases have also been reported in Simpson, Logan, Allen, Barren and Edmonson Counties.

In all the counties combined, 74 people have died from the virus and 2,118 have fully recovered.
