Kentucky Mesonet at WKU launches new website, expanded features

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A state weather monitoring network launched a new website on Monday.

According to a release, Kentucky Mesonet’s website, www.kymesonet.org, has received its “largest overhaul” in almost ten years.

The site features new maps, graphs and interactive features.

Users can access real-time data, webcams and forecasts in 80 counties in the commonwealth, according to the release.

National Weather Service (NWS) warnings and advisory map overlays and local NWS forecasts have also been integrated into the website.
