Kentucky man wanted in connection to fatal collision captured in Memphis

CLARKSVILLE, Ky. – A Kentucky man wanted in connection to a fatal crash has been captured.

The Clarksville Police Department says it received an anonymous tip on the whereabouts of Daryl Ingram, 65 of Oak Grove. Ingram was taken into custody in Memphis on Wednesday morning.

Clarksville police coordinated the tip that led to the arrest of Ingram with a FACT investigator and the Shelby County Fugitive Task Force.

Ingram was wanted in connection with fatal head-on collision on the evening of September 5 on Ashland City Road near Riverwood Place.

Ingram is charged with Vehicular Homicide, Driving Under the Influence, Driving on the Wrong Side of the Roadway, Violating Light Laws and Failing to Provide Proof of Insurance.

Ingram’s bond is set at $550,000. He is currently awaiting extradition from Shelby County to Clarksville.
