Kentucky Lottery celebrates 35th anniversary with stops in South Central Kentucky
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Kentucky Lottery is celebrating 35 years of helping the community and they made a couple of local stops in South Central Kentucky to thank their players.
News 40 caught up with the lottery at the Daily Stop on Happy Valley Road in Glasgow. They also stopped at the AM Express on Three Springs Road in Bowling Green as well.
They had a bunch of prizes on hand, from koozies & t-shirts to, of course, coupons for lottery tickets.
We spoke to the President & CEO of the Kentucky Lottery who told us what this campaign really means for the community.
“It’s just a thank you. It’s a thank you for our retailers and our players because they make us what we are… and we’re celebrating our 35th birthday… and it seemed like a good time to just give a little pat on the back to those people who contribute to what the lottery does every day,” Mary Harville says.
She also says they hope to reach every corner of the state, so she’s looking forward to making more stops in South Central Kentucky in the near future.
