Kentucky Grand Hotel delivering care packages to quarantined seniors

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A south central Kentucky hotel is giving back to seniors who are shut-in during the coronavirus outbreak.

The Kentucky Grand Hotel began delivering care packages to area seniors on Monday. The hotel is calling the initiative, The Stay Strong Care Package Program.

The packages include items such as a crossword puzzle book, a roll of toiler paper, tissues, a deck of cards, disinfectant wipes, pre-package snacks, a book, a personal card from hotel staff and more.

The hotel’s owner, Dan Murph said it is the hotel’s mission to serve and enrich the community.

The packages are free and are being left on the front porch of people’s homes.
