Kentucky Fish and Wildlife wardens rescue fawn from sinkhole in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ky. – A fawn is back home after falling into a sinkhole in Franklin.

A local farmer in Simpson County contacted Kentucky Fish and Wildlife wardens Trevor Lowe and Trenton Mofield regarding a white-tail deer fawn stuck in a sinkhole, authorities say.

Authorities say the response was successful, and the fawn was rescued.

They say the fawn was released unharmed back into the woods.
