Kentucky Fish and Wildlife is asking for Christmas Tree donations after the holidays
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky Fish and Wildlife is looking for evergreen Christmas tree donations after Christmas is over.
Kentucky Fish and Wildlife stated that fish flourish in environments with diverse cover, including trees and logs. The donated trees will help restore woody structures that decay over time, providing protective cover and shade for a variety of fish species.
The trees must be real, not artificial, and should be free all lights, ornaments and other decorations.
They will accepting donations from Dec. 26 to Jan. 16 of next year at any of their 37 drop-off locations.
