SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Law Enforcement says it cited one person in Allen County regarding an illegally harvested deer.

According to Fish and Wildlife officials, they initially responded on Nov. 17 to investigate a report of an illegally harvested buck in Allen County.

This report was unfounded, officials say. However, Fish and Wildlife says wardens encountered a subject who had harvested two bucks in 2024 and used another person’s information to tele-check the second deer.

Wardens say the individual was cited. Prosecution is pending in this case.
