Kentucky Division of Forestry warns of forest fire season

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – As the weather warms up, the upcoming season brings some burn law changes.

The Kentucky Division of Forestry says spring forest fire hazard season starts tomorrow.

From Feb. 15 to April 30, it is against the law to burn before 6 p.m. All burns should be stopped by 6 a.m.

This includes setting fire to any flammable material that could spread. You should also watch fires until they are extinguished completely.
