Kentucky Center for Leadership holds conference in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In effort to provide both an experience and meaningful keys to success for moving up, the Kentucky Center for Leadership held an inaugural Next Level Leadership Summit.

News 40 spoke to Greg Coker, who said the goal for the two-day summit is to help people get to the next level in their leadership journey, learn negotiation tactics and network with other attendees as well as hear some presentations from some prominent individuals.

The station spoke to Lt. General Steven Basham and Dr. Tori McClure as well, who commented on the idea of leadership, saying it’s a dynamic thing.

Basham said when it comes to the age old debate of whether leaders are born or made, he thinks it’s a little of both, to which McClure agreed and said that when it comes to being a leader, you have to be intentional and a cultivator of experience.

If you are interested in learning more about the center, Coker who serves as president and CEO for the organization said to look to their website, http://kc4l.org.
