Juvenile cited after leading police on brief pursuit in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – A juvenile is cited following a brief police pursuit.
Glasgow Police Department Major Terry Flatt says officers responded to a possible intoxicated driver in the parking lot of the Extreme Fitness Gym on Wednesday.
Flatt says officers located the vehicle as it was pulling out of the parking lot onto Moran Street.
Officers attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle continued traveling on several side streets, failing to stop.
Flatt says the vehicle turned onto N L Roger Wells Boulevard, driving on the wrong side of the road.
The pursuit ended after officers stopped the vehicle.
Flatt says the driver of the vehicle is a male juvenile.
The investigation shows that the male juvenile was not under the influence. He was driving the vehicle without a valid operator’s license.
The juvenile was taken into custody, cited, and released to a guardian.
He was cited for fleeing or evading police 1st degree (motor vehicle), improperly on the left side of the road, reckless driving, disregarding a stop sign, no operator’s license, failure to or improper signal.
