Juvenile bicyclist flown for treatment after being struck by vehicle in Clarksville, police say

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A juvenile bicyclist was flown by LifeFlight after being struck by a vehicle in Clarksville Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Clarksville Police Department (CPD), officers responded to the intersection of Black Oak Circle and Black Oak Circle to a report of a collision involving a bicycle and an SUV at approximately 2:30 pm.

Officers say the 14-year-old bicyclist was not wearing a helmet and sustained injuries. The 14-year-old was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville for treatment. CPD says the juvenile’s current status is unknown.

Investigators are currently at the scene, according to CPD.
