Juvenile arrested after leading police on high-speed chase, crashing into porch

GLASGOW, Ky. – A juvenile is arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase.

Glasgow Police Department Major Terry Flatt says the department conducted a traffic stop on Wednesday after locating a vehicle believed to be stolen.

An officer observed the vehicle traveling on East Main Street and attempted to execute a traffic stop.

The vehicle did not stop and continued at a high speed. The vehicle struck a concrete porch of a residence on Humble Avenue.

The officer made contact with a male juvenile and placed him in custody.

The male juvenile is charged with reckless driving, fleeing or evading police 1st degree (motor vehicle), wanton endangerment 1st degree police officer, wanton endangerment 1st degree (3 counts), no operator’s license, disregarding stop sign.

Flatt says a Toyota passenger car missing a rear bumper is also being searched for. Individuals with information on the car’s whereabouts can call the Glasgow Police Department at 270.393.4000.
