Junior Achievement to host Race for JA June 1

Race For Ja

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A popular kart racing event to benefit education programs for local students returns this summer.

Junior Achievement will host the M&L Electrical Race for JA on Saturday, June 1 at the NCM Motorsports Park.

The race will take place from 7 am to 12 pm at NCM Kartplex.

“The M&L Electrical Race for JA is such an energizing event, and we are thrilled to host it in 2024,” said Allie R. Sharp Hilderbrandt, President of Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky. “This event is particularly exciting, as it celebrates the spirit of friendly competition while raising funds for an excellent cause – education focus on work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.”

Team registrations and sponsorships are available. Proceeds will directly benefit Junior Achievement’s K-12 student programs.

The education programs are provided free of charge to all local schools within Junior Achievement’s 13-county service area.

Racers will compete in teams of four and individuals. Racers must be 60 inches tall to participate and a guardian must be present if the individual is under 18 years old. Closed-toe shoes are required with no exceptions.
