Junior Achievement programs support Kentucky students for success

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Junior Achievement is sharing how it can prepare young students for fulfilling careers and financial independence.
According to a release by Junior Achievement Thursday, its hand-son programs play a pivotal role in helping Kentucky’s next generation to succeed.
The release states recent data shows 89% of JA alumni found programs helpful in discovering new career paths, and four out of five credit JA with influencing their educational and professional decisions.
“As Kentucky’s economy evolves, Junior Achievement across the Commonwealth is deeply committed to giving every student the confidence, knowledge, and skills to realize their full potential,” said Laurel Martin, president of Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass. “By partnering with educators, employers, and policymakers, we’re building a statewide talent pipeline aligned to Kentucky’s workforce needs, and inspiring the innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.”
Junior Achievement’s education and career readiness initiatives reach nearly 80,000 students annually. Signature initiatives, including financial literacy courses and immersive work-based learning experiences, help bridge the gap between school and the workplace.
As the new school year begins, Junior Achievement lines up with Kentucky’s leading priorities:
