Junior Achievement announces annual Homecoming event
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Celebrate Western Kentucky University’s Wild Wild Western Homecoming 2021 week by participating in the annual Chili & Cheese event on Thursday, October 28, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Montana Grille. The luncheon, sponsored by English Lucas Priest and Owsley and Wendy’s of Bowling Green, and presented by Junior Achievement and the WKU Alumni Association, continues the tradition of good food, great fun and plenty of WKU cheer! Participants can order meals to go, park at Montana Grille, and go inside to pick up their takeout orders while wearing masks. This year we are pleased to announce that WKU will provide a brief, outdoor, in-person WKU athletics program, with influential WKU personnel and homecoming festivities. The brief homecoming program will begin at 12pm outside of Montana Grille.
“WKU is excited to once again partner with Junior Achievement and local sponsors to bring the Bowling Green community a spirited kickoff to Homecoming on the Hill,” said Caitlin Greenwell, Senior Director of Alumni Engagement and Philanthropy at Western Kentucky University. “The Chili and Cheese Luncheon is a fun tradition that brings Hilltoppers together for a great cause.”
Tickets are $6 and meals include a bowl of Wendy’s chili, a grilled cheese sandwich, a drink, and a Country Oven Bakery dessert. You may pre-purchase your ticket online at www.alumni.wku.edu/cc21. All proceeds benefit Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky. Online orders will be accepted until the deadline of Tuesday, October 26 at 12pm.
Masks are required while picking up takeout food orders indoors.
