Jambodians Holiday Bash raises money for childhood art and music education
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With the Christmas holiday behind us, there’s still plenty of giving to do, and one local foundation held an event that gives back to the youth in our communities, but this is something that’s been done for several years.
On Saturday, the Jambodians Holiday Bash took place at La Gala, an annual musical event that supports the Son Rhea Foundation.
The foundation is a non-profit organization that strives to support and maintain the arts in Bowling Green while giving children an opportunity to participate in music and art.
This was the 19th year for the Jambodians Holiday Bash.
The purpose of the benefit is to raise money towards opportunities that encourage kids to appreciate the fine arts and enrich their lives.
Tony Lindsey tells us the event is a relaxed, fun atmosphere for the community to see Grammy-award winners.
He considers this benefit a win-win for everyone, but that the focus of the event is showing support for the youth.
