Jalapenos, green peppers and green beans sold at Aldi recalled for listeria concerns

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A variety of produce sold at select Aldi stores in multiple states, including Kentucky, is being recalled over potential listeria contamination.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Aldi, Inc. is recalling Freshire Farms jalapenos, green peppers and green beans.
They include 8-ounce bags of jalapenos, 16-ounce bags of green peppers and 16-ounce bags of green beans.
The affected products were sold in Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, the FDA says.
If customers have the affected product, they are advised to throw it away or return it to their local store for a full refund.
