ITA and Chamber celebrating Dominion IV development in Transpark

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Inter-modal Transportation Authority is celebrating the development of Dominion IV within the Kentucky Transpark.

ITA and Dominion Commercial Assets have closed on a land purchase agreement that will serve as the location for multiple private speculative buildings, the first one being in the Transpark.

Mike Vitale, managing member of the Dominion Commercial Assets said this is an addition to their existing buildings.

“The first three buildings thankfully were successful. So we wanted to continue and actually upsize the building. The demand is out there in the Transpark, and the Transpark is booming. We’re just glad to be a part of it,” said Vitale.

This Dominion IV building will be the largest private building in the Transpark at 125,000 square feet. It will be a pre-engineered steel structure with insulated panels, sitting on 19 acres of land.

“The building can be used as manufacturing facilities or distribution centers, what have you. It’s pre engineered steel, which means it’s fairly flexible,” said Vitale.

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is currently marketing the building for a company. Ron Bunch, CEO and President of the Chamber says what this means for the community.

“The really amazing part is that we have a private sector that believes in the success that we’ve had in economic development and really believes in Bowling Green and Warren County and willing to put down money without a specific tenant in mind to help us recruit companies. And I think that that investment is amazing. It’s a real testament to how much they care about the community and how they want to see continued growth here. So we really appreciate them risking their capital to make this possible,” said Bunch.

Construction on the building will begin this month. It is expected to be completed by fall of 2021.
