Isaiah 117 House continues to make impact with help of community

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky.- Resources for children in the system and foster care have been limited for a while, but the Isaiah 117 House is making a difference.

From building a house for families and children in need by raising money through their lemonade stands to receiving donations from several members of the community, they are pouring everything they can back into the children that need it most.

Lori Gafford, location leader of the Isaiah 117 House, says, “Our resources will provide just all kinds of resources for any, you know, children that as they leave on that traumatic day, they’re not, they don’t have their belongings, so we are helping change the way foster care begins.”

The services that the Isaiah 117 House offers are just beginning. On Wednesday, the Isaiah 117 House will be selling lemonade at Logan Aluminum in Russellville and so much more.
