Indianapolis woman arrested in Cave City, accused of driving stolen vehicle

An Indianapolis woman is under arrest in Cave City, accused of possessing drugs and driving a truck reported stolen out of Florida. 

Cave City Police arrested Lisa Davidson, 37, on Monday.

Officers say they pulled Davidson over on Mammoth Cave Road after police noticed the truck she was driving had an expired license plate and an unsecured rear door.

According to authorities, police discovered suspected marijuana, methamphetamine and multiple documents of another individual’s personal identifying information inside the vehicle.

After a brief investigation, officers learned the vehicle had been stolen from someone in Florida. 

Davidson was charged with multiple drug offenses, receiving stolen property over $10,000 and identity theft.

She was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
