(WAVE) – Police have released new information about the death of a young boy whose body was found in a suitcase in April.

Indiana State Police say the boy and two suspects in his death have been identified.

Sgt. Cary Huls of the Indiana State Police says, based on information in this investigation, the Washington County Circuit Court issued two arrest warrants.

One was for Dawn Elaine Coleman, 40, of Shreveport, Louisiana. The other warrant is for Dejuane Ludie Anderson, 37, of Atlanta, Georgia, who is the mother of the dead child.

Indiana authorities say the relationship between Coleman and Anderson is not clear. Coleman was arrested in California earlier this month.

Police are now desperately searching for the mother, who was last known to be in the Los Angeles area; she is also known to have traveled to Houston, Las Vegas, San Diego and San Francisco.

ISP says an autopsy found no physical injuries to the child or drugs in his system and listed the cause of death as an electrolyte imbalance that caused an intestinal infection.
