In-person classes likely canceled for remainder of school year in Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- It doesn’t appear in-person classes will happen again this school year in Kentucky.

According to the Kentucky Department of Education, the Interim Education Commissioner Kevin Brown and Gov. Andy Beshear had a conversation Monday.

It has now been recommended that public schools throughout the state not return to in-person classes for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year.

Districts will continue with non-traditional instruction.
