Impaired driving stop results in drug bust

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is accused of multiple drug offenses following a traffic stop.
Warren County Sheriff’s Office deputies saw a small silver SUV run a red light at the intersection of Glasgow Road and Jody Richards Drive Wednesday, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
A deputy also saw the motorist driving on the wrong side of Glasgow Road, according to a release. A deputy stopped the driver, Ronald Earl Bock, 55, of Bowling Green, who is accused of driving impaired.
Deputies said they found drugs and paraphernalia in the vehicle he had been driving. Deputies seized suspected marijuana, 12 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, 40 suspected Xanax pills, suspected Suboxone and five suspected hydrocodone tablets. Bock was arrested and taken to the Warren County Regional Jail.
He is charged with:
- Failure to wear a seat belt.
- Second-degree possession of a controlled substance.
- First-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense.
- Disregarding a traffic control device/light.
- Driving improperly on the left side of the road.
- Careless driving.
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc. (aggravated circumstance).
- First-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense.
- Possession of marijuana.
- Possession of drug paraphernalia.
- First-degree possession of controlled substance first offense.
- Third-degree trafficking in controlled substance first offense.
