Yanks DH Stanton 10-day IL (quad) , LHP Britton has setback

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — New York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left quad strain. Stanton missed all three games in their weekend series at Baltimore. The Yankees made the move before the opener of four-game series in Texas on Monday night. Left-hander Zack Britton had a potential setback in his recovery from elbow surgery. Manager Aaron Boone says Britton is dealing with soreness from his simulated game at Triple-A, and his scheduled rehab start at Double-A might get pushed back a couple of days.
