INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A trio of Indianapolis 500 winners led opening day of practice and temporarily silenced the sudden youth movement. Will Power was fastest on the first day at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and was followed by Ryan Hunter-Reay and Takuma Sato. The season has started with three first-time winners and four drivers 24 or younger winning races. But Indy is a track that rewards experience and the veterans were strongest on opening day.
