AVONDALE, La. (AP) — Tony Finau is among the PGA Tour players pros primed to take unusual risks and big swings this week. The tour is back in New Orleans with the Zurich Classic’s two-player team format for the first time since 2019. While the second and final rounds call for players on each team to alternate shots, it’s a best-ball format in the first round on Thursday and third round on Saturday. That’s when Finau says he can see himself “letting it rip” if teammate Cameron Champ’s tee shot is safely in the fairway. Ryan Palmer and Jon Rahm are back to defend their title.
