SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (AP) — Multiple media outlets and a Los Angeles County official say a shooting at a small Fire Department station has killed one firefighter and wounded another. A sheriff’s statement says deputies responded to reports of multiple gunshot victims shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday at a station about 45 miles north of Los Angeles. Authorities released no other details. Supervisor Hilda Solis tweeted condolences “to the family of the firefighter who was tragically killed in today’s shooting.” A fire started at a home near the station, and media outlets reported that a body was visible outside the home and may be the shooter.
