STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State freshman star Cade Cunningham’s maturation process accelerated quickly in a pair of critical games against rival Oklahoma. In the first game, the 6-foot-8 point guard scored 10 of his 40 points in overtime last Saturday as the Cowboys won 94-90. Two days later, he waited until late to take over and helped the Cowboys win again. His improving grasp of how to be most effective is the main reason No. 17 Oklahoma State is one of the nation’s hottest teams.
