Man to plead guilty to romance con of ‘Black-ish’ star

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man accused of romancing “black-ish” star Jenifer Lewis and three other women to con them out of money will plead guilty to a federal charge of wire fraud. In a plea agreement filed Friday in Los Angeles, the U.S. attorney’s office says Antonio Wilson acknowledged getting the women to invest nearly $400,000 in two phony businesses. To create a false sense of legitimacy, prosecutors say Wilson falsely claimed to be a Navy SEAL, an Oxford University graduate and a professor at UCLA. He previously spent four years in prison for a similar scam in Northern California.
