KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (AP) — Getting to the PGA Championship at The Ocean Course in 2012 proved one of the most challenging aspects for fans. Officials at the 2021 event promised changes even before the pandemic limited fans to about a third of what they anticipated. Tournament director Ryan Ogle said the access plan has been changed in light of traffic and parking snarls that impacted the experience of fans at the major tournament nine years ago. He believes those attending will have fewer traffic jams and an easier parking experience as they make their way to the sea-swept layout.
