AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Antoine Rozner is the latest example of how quickly fortunes can change in golf. The 28-year-old from Paris was No. 99 in the world two weeks ago. Then he made a 60-foot birdie putt on the final hole and won the Qatar Masters. That moved Rozner to No. 63 in the world. That was the last week to be in the top 64 and earn a spot in the Dell Match Play. This is Rozner’s first World Golf Championship and he faces U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau in his first match. There’s an outside chance Rozner can still qualify for the Masters.
