Sam Burns pulls away at Innisbrook, claims first PGA title

PALM HARBOR, Fla. (AP) — Sam Burns finally finished atop the leaderboard on the right day of the week — Sunday. Locked in a duel with Keegan Bradley, Burns hit all the right shots down the stretch. He shot a 68 and won the Valspar Championship by three shots. It was his first PGA Tour victory after twice having the 54-hole lead this season. Bradley gave him plenty of help. The former PGA champion was tied for the lead until hitting his tee shot into the water on the par-3 13th hole to make double bogey. Bradley shot 71 and was runner-up.
