Artemi Panarin rejoins Rangers after 2-week leave of absence

Artemi Panarin has rejoined the New York Rangers after taking a two-week leave of absence.  Rangers coach David Quinn says he won’t play Thursday against Boston and there is no timeline for his return to game action. Panarin left the team Feb. 22 after a Russian tabloid printed allegations from a former coach that he attacked a woman in Latvia almost a decade ago. Panarin denied those allegations. The team called it a fabricated story designed to intimidate Panarin for his political views. Panarin has been critical of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
