CASTIONE DELLA PRESOLANA, Italy (AP) — As Italy gradually emerges from its two-month lockdown, tourist operators in the hard-hit Val Seriana valley look ahead with trepidation on an uncertain summer season that could make or break them.  An Associated Press photographer ventured to towns along Italy’s Orobie mountain range to capture residents’ hopes — and doubts — as they contemplate the promise of a return of summer visitors. Many are on the edge financially from the coronavirus lockdowns. Others wonder how to manage social distancing in tiny mountain huts. And no one knows what exactly to do if Italy’s mountains are overrun this summer by people desperate to get back to nature after weeks stuck at home.
