Texas A&M won its first regular-season Southeastern Conference title and moved up to its highest ranking ever in The Associated Press women’s college basketball poll. The second-ranked Aggies beat then-No. 5 South Carolina on Sunday to win the conference title and then switched places with North Carolina State in the AP Top 25 a day later. UConn remained the top choice in the poll, receiving 27 of 30 first-place votes. The Huskies finish off their regular season on Monday night against Marquette. The Wolfpack fell to third with Stanford and Louisville rounding out the first five teams in the poll.
