After mental health break, a turnaround at Detroit Mercy

DETROIT (AP) — College basketball players throughout the country have had to adjust to coronavirus protocols, scheduling uncertainty and general anxiety about the pandemic. In late December, Detroit Mercy’s men’s basketball team paused activities, citing the mental health of its athletes. The Titans didn’t play another game until mid-January. Now that looks like a smart move. The Titans won 10 of their final 12 regular-season games. THey play their Horizon League Tournament opener Thursday night against Robert Morris.
