I-165 interchange ramp closures scheduled in Butler County next week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.– A rehabilitation and resurfacing project on Interstate 165 in Butler County is expected to create ramp closures beginning next week.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 says all work is subject to change and is weather-dependent.

The schedule for the ramp closures is listed below:

Thursday, Sept. 5

Exit 26 northbound on-ramp – The ramp will close at 6 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use U.S. 231, KY 1468 and KY 70.

Friday, Sept. 6

Exit 26 southbound off-ramp – The ramp will close at 6 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use Exit 27, KY 70, KY 1468 and U.S. 231.

Monday, Sept. 9

Exit 27 northbound on-ramp – The ramp will close at 6 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use I-165 southbound to Exit 26 and re-enter I-165 northbound at Exit 26.

Tuesday, Sept. 10

Exit 27 southbound on-ramp – The ramp will close at 6 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use KY 70, KY 1468 and U.S. 231.

Thursday, Sept. 11

Exit 27 northbound off-ramp – The ramp will close at 6 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use Exit 26, U.S. 231, KY 1468 and KY 70.

Friday, Sept. 12

Exit 27 southbound off-ramp – The ramp will close at 6 a.m. and reopen late that night. The detour will use I-165 southbound to Exit 26 and re-enter I-165 northbound at Exit 26.

The entire project is expected to be completed by Nov. 1.
