Hunters Crossing Neighborhood Association to hold back to school bash Sunday
BOWLING GREEN Ky.-As summer break comes to a close, a local neighborhood wants kids to end it on a high note.
This Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Hunters Crossing Neighborhood Association will hold a back-to-school bash event. It’ll feature food trucks, bounce houses, face painting and games just to name a few.
Volunteers for the bash are still needed, and this includes bounce house attendants, game attendants, set up and tear down help and hospitality attendants. Game sponsors are also needed.
The Hunters Crossing Neighborhood Association is always planning events from celebrations like this to holiday themed parades. Leigh Ann Price with the organization says this will be a great experience.
“They’re just excited to be back with their friends, celebrate a new school year, meet their teachers. I think this celebration is just going to help with that excitement and get our kids together and let them have some more social time. We’re really looking forward to social time and certainly more of a schedule,” Price said.
The bash will be on the corner of Earlston and Shetland Drive. Everyone is welcome to attend.
