Hundreds of socks donated to VH Dream Center

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – One community member is going above and beyond to make sure that those in need have warm, clean socks during their addiction recovery journey.

Madilyn Wheeler-Sawyers has collected 503 pairs of socks for individuals facing shelter insecurities.

She collected in Allen and Warren counties, calling it the Warm Souls Project.

The Dream Center says her kindness and determination is inspiriting, and they know these socks will bring comfort and warmth to so many people.
