Hundreds gather for Galentine’s Day Gala, raising funds for BRASS, Inc.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This year’s Galentine’s Day Gala saw hundreds of women joining together, raising money for victims of domestic violence.

This annual event is held by the Barren River Area Safe Space, which reports that they receive eight crisis calls every day and on average, house about 58 people per night in their housing program.

BRASS, Inc. reports that their non-residential program assisted over 2,000 victims in court this past year.

Proceeds from this year’s gala will go toward keeping BRASS in business, helping those who need it most.
