Hundreds gather for annual Out of the Darkness Walk

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hundreds of people gathered at Bowling Green Ballpark Sunday afternoon for the Bowling Green Out of the Darkness Walk.

The annual walk, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, brought together around 400 people to raise awareness.

Organizers say the event brings communities together to support individuals and families affected by suicide and highlights the importance of mental health awareness and research.

This year’s event raised $30,000 through donation drives and sponsorships.
