Hospitality Olympics 2022 are in full swing!
BOWLING GREEN, Ky – With tourism booming in Bowling Green, the hospitality industry celebrates their hard work.
The Bowling Green Area Lodging Association celebrates the 5th Hospitality Olympics for local employees in the hospitality industry. This event is for employees to feel appreciated for their hard work.
The Hospitality Olympics is a field day where the work activities in their daily lives are made into fun field events.
Telia Butler, Secretary for the Bowling Green Area Lodging Association says, “this is the time where they [the hospitality employees of Bowling Green] can finally enjoy a little bit of the work they do.”
With Covid-19 pushing back the Hospitality Olympics from being in person since 2019, the industry is happy to be in person to celebrate together again.
Michael Nunn, President of the Bowling Green Area Lodging Association says, “If you travel, say thank you to the people who are working. Tips are nice and things like that are great but a simple thank you and a smile in the hallway, to these folks who have worked so hard during this, really goes a long way.”
